Thesis Abstract
The rapid digital transformation within healthcare organizations has significantly reshaped service delivery, operational efficiency, and employee workflows, presenting both opportunities and challenges for sustaining high levels of employee engagement. Despite extensive adoption of new digital technologies such as electronic health records, telemedicine platforms, and automated administrative systems, little empirical evidence exists on how these technological advancements influence employee motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in regional healthcare contexts. This study aims to explore the relationships between digital transformation initiatives and employee engagement in a regional healthcare organization, with specific objectives to assess the extent of digital technology adoption, identify perceived impacts on employee engagement, and evaluate the moderating role of organizational culture on these relationships. Employing a mixed-method research design, the study combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to provide comprehensive insights. The quantitative component involves a structured questionnaire administered to a stratified random sample of 350 healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, administrative staff, and allied health workers, across the organization.
