Diabetes mellitus remains a growing public health challenge worldwide, with poor disease management contributing to increased morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs. Despite the proliferation of clinical guidelines, adherence to effective management strategies among patients remains inconsistent, often due to limited healthcare resources and inadequate patient education. Nurse-led interventions have emerged as a vital component in enhancing self-management behaviors, fostering better clinical outcomes, and reducing complications associated with diabetes. However, empirical evidence on the effectiveness and specific impact of such interventions within structured healthcare settings is limited, particularly in contexts where nurses assume expanded roles in chronic disease management. This study aims to assess the impact of nurse-led interventions on diabetes management outcomes among adult patients with type 2 diabetes. The specific objectives include (1) evaluating changes in glycemic control, measured by HbA1c levels; (2) determining improvements in patients’ self-care behaviors; (3) assessing adherence rates to prescribed medication regimens; and (4) identifying patient satisfaction with nurse-led care. The overarching goal is to provide evidence-based insights into the contribution of nurses in optimizing diabetes management to inform policy and practice improvements.
