Abstract
Chronic pain is a prevalent and debilitating condition affecting millions of individuals worldwide. While conventional pharmacological treatments are commonly used for pain management, there is a growing interest in the use of natural remedies as alternative or complementary therapies. This thesis presents a systematic review and meta-analysis that investigates the efficacy of natural remedies in managing chronic pain. The study aims to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the existing evidence on the effectiveness of natural remedies, such as herbal supplements, acupuncture, yoga, and mindfulness techniques, in alleviating chronic pain symptoms. The literature review conducted in this study critically examines previous research studies on natural remedies for chronic pain, focusing on their mechanisms of action, potential benefits, and limitations. A systematic search strategy was employed to identify relevant studies published in peer-reviewed journals, and a rigorous selection process was used to include only high-quality and relevant studies in the review.
