The use of natural compounds as potential therapeutic agents for these conditions has gained increasing attention due to their perceived safety and potential efficacy. This thesis aims to explore the therapeutic benefits of natural compounds in treating neurodegenerative diseases, focusing on their mechanisms of action, efficacy, and potential clinical applications. Chapter One provides the introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The chapter also includes a definition of key terms to establish a clear understanding of the research context. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that covers ten key aspects related to natural compounds and their therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative diseases.
