Abstract
The treatment of cancer continues to be a major challenge in the field of medicine. Conventional cancer therapies such as chemotherapy and radiation often come with significant side effects and limitations in targeting cancer cells specifically. Therefore, the development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy has emerged as a promising approach to improve treatment outcomes and reduce adverse effects. This thesis focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of a novel drug delivery system for targeted cancer therapy. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The chapter sets the foundation for understanding the importance of developing targeted drug delivery systems for cancer treatment.
