Abstract
The field of cancer therapy has been revolutionized with the development of novel drug delivery systems that target tumor cells more effectively while minimizing adverse effects on healthy tissues. This thesis focuses on the development and evaluation of such advanced drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. The primary objective is to enhance the efficacy and safety of cancer treatment through the design and optimization of drug delivery platforms that can selectively deliver therapeutic agents to cancer cells. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The definitions of key terms relevant to the study are also presented to provide clarity on the terminology used throughout the thesis. In Chapter Two, a comprehensive literature review is conducted to explore existing research on drug delivery systems for cancer therapy.
