Abstract
This thesis focuses on the development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy to address the challenges associated with conventional cancer treatment approaches. Cancer remains a significant health burden worldwide, with current treatment modalities often associated with severe side effects and limited efficacy. Targeted drug delivery systems offer a promising approach to improve the therapeutic outcomes of cancer treatment by enhancing drug specificity, reducing systemic toxicity, and improving patient compliance. This research project aims to design and evaluate innovative drug delivery systems tailored for targeted cancer therapy, with a focus on improving treatment efficacy and minimizing adverse effects. The introductory chapter provides an overview of the background of the study, highlighting the significance of developing targeted drug delivery systems for cancer therapy. The problem statement identifies the limitations of current cancer treatment approaches and underscores the need for more effective and less toxic treatment strategies.
