The rapid expansion of the technology sector has heightened the imperative for sustainable office design practices that align environmental responsibility with business operations, yet limited empirical evidence exists on how leading tech firms integrate green innovations into their office environments. This study aims to examine the sustainability practices employed in tech industry offices, emphasizing the adoption of green innovations, with the objective of assessing their effectiveness in reducing environmental impact, enhancing occupant well-being, and optimizing operational efficiency. Specific objectives include identifying prevalent sustainable design strategies, evaluating their environmental and organizational benefits, and understanding stakeholder perceptions of green initiatives within corporate offices. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to generate comprehensive insights into sustainable office practices. The target population comprises facilities managers, architects, environmental consultants, and employees within the tech industry’s office spaces in a major urban center, with a total population estimate of 350 individuals across 20 organizations. A stratified random sampling technique was used to select 15 organizations, from which 150 employees and 30 key stakeholders were systematically sampled to ensure representativeness and depth of perspective. Data collection instruments include structured questionnaires for quantitative analysis and semi-structured interview guides for qualitative insights, both validated via pilot testing and expert review to ensure content validity. Reliability was established through Cronbach’s alpha coefficients exceeding 0.85 for survey scales. Quantitative data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression to determine relationships between green practices and organizational outcomes. Qualitative data will undergo thematic analysis to uncover perceived benefits, challenges, and stakeholder attitudes related to sustainable design initiatives. Stakeholder perceptions are projected to reveal high recognition of environmental and social benefits yet highlight institutional and financial barriers. This research contributes novel empirical evidence to the field of sustainable architectural practice within the tech industry, establishing a detailed framework for evaluating green innovations' impacts on organizational sustainability. Its findings will inform industry standards and policy formulations aimed at promoting environmentally responsible office environments. Additionally, the study advances theoretical understanding by operationalizing the integration of the Theory of Planned Behavior and Diffusion of Innovations in the context of corporate sustainability strategies.
