The increasing complexity of administrative tasks faced by executive secretaries in contemporary organizational environments necessitates the integration of automated systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational effectiveness. Despite the proliferation of workflow automation tools, a significant gap persists in the development, implementation, and systematic evaluation of tailored automated workflow systems specifically designed for the nuanced roles of executive secretaries within various organizational contexts. This study aims to design, implement, and evaluate an automated workflow system tailored to meet the distinctive needs of executive secretaries, thereby optimizing their task management, communication processes, and document handling. The specific objectives include analyzing current workflow challenges faced by secretaries, developing a prototype automated system based on user-centered design principles, and empirically evaluating the system’s impact on task efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining a qualitative exploratory phase with a quantitative evaluative phase. The qualitative component involves semi-structured interviews with 30 executive secretaries across three corporate organizations to identify common workflow bottlenecks and user requirements. The quantitative phase employs a quasi-experimental design involving a sample of 100 secretaries randomly assigned to control and experimental groups within the same organizations.
