Virtual Reality (VR) technology has gained significant attention in recent years for its potential to revolutionize teaching and learning experiences in various fields, including science education. This thesis aims to investigate the impact of VR technology on student engagement and learning outcomes in science education. The study will explore how the integration of VR technology into science classrooms influences student engagement levels and academic performance, as well as the perceptions and experiences of both students and teachers. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from students and teachers in secondary school science classrooms. The study will involve implementing VR technology in selected science lessons and assessing its effects on student engagement and learning outcomes compared to traditional teaching methods. Data analysis will involve statistical techniques to measure differences in student engagement levels and academic performance between the VR-enhanced lessons and traditional lessons.
