Abstract
This thesis explores the implementation of e-Government services as a strategy to enhance citizen engagement and government efficiency. The rapid advancement of information and communication technologies has transformed the landscape of public administration, offering new opportunities for governments to interact with citizens and improve service delivery. The main objective of this study is to investigate the potential benefits of e-Government services in fostering citizen engagement and enhancing government efficiency. The research begins with a comprehensive review of the literature on e-Government services, citizen engagement, and government efficiency. The literature review highlights the importance of leveraging technology to create more inclusive and transparent governance processes. It also examines the challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of e-Government services in different contexts. The methodology chapter outlines the research design and data collection methods used in this study. A mixed-method approach is employed, combining qualitative interviews with government officials and citizens, as well as quantitative surveys to gather data on the impact of e-Government services on citizen engagement and government efficiency. The research methodology also includes a comparative analysis of e-Government initiatives in different countries to identify best practices and lessons learned. The findings chapter presents the results of the research, highlighting the positive effects of e-Government services on citizen engagement and government efficiency.
