Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have emerged as a popular strategy for governments to enhance service delivery in various sectors. This thesis aims to evaluate the effectiveness of public-private partnerships in enhancing service delivery in local governments. The study focuses on understanding how these partnerships are structured, implemented, and their impact on service delivery within the context of local government operations. By examining the strengths and weaknesses of PPPs, this research seeks to provide valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders involved in public administration. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with key stakeholders involved in public-private partnerships and quantitative analysis of service delivery performance indicators. The literature review revealed a wide range of perspectives on the effectiveness of PPPs, highlighting the importance of clear objectives, proper risk allocation, and transparent governance mechanisms in ensuring successful partnerships.
