This thesis examines the effectiveness of government policies in promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sustainable development has become a critical global agenda, and governments play a crucial role in implementing policies that advance the SDGs. The study aims to evaluate the impact of government policies on achieving sustainable development objectives and identify areas for improvement. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, qualitative analysis of government policies, and case studies to provide a thorough understanding of the subject matter. Chapter 1 provides the foundation for the study, including the introduction, background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 comprises a detailed literature review encompassing ten key aspects related to government policies and sustainable development goals. Chapter 3 explores the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, limitations, and reliability and validity.
