Climate change is a pressing global issue that requires a comprehensive understanding of public opinion and policy responses, particularly in developing countries. This thesis examines the dynamic relationship between public perception of climate change and the corresponding policy responses in developing countries. Through a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative analyses, this study aims to provide insights into how public opinion influences policy decisions and implementation in the context of climate change. Chapter One introduces the research topic, providing a background on the growing significance of climate change as a global challenge. The problem statement highlights the gap in understanding the interplay between public opinion and policy responses in developing countries, setting the stage for the research objectives. The limitations and scope of the study are outlined, emphasizing the focus on selected developing countries.
