** This thesis investigates the impact of Virtual Reality (VR) rehabilitation on balance and functional mobility in older adults through a randomized controlled trial. The study aims to address the growing need for innovative and effective rehabilitation interventions for the aging population. The research design involves a randomized controlled trial where older adults will be assigned to either a VR rehabilitation group or a conventional rehabilitation group. The VR rehabilitation group will undergo a series of balance and mobility exercises using VR technology, while the conventional group will receive traditional physiotherapy interventions. The literature review explores the existing evidence on the use of VR technology in rehabilitation, the physiological mechanisms underlying balance and mobility in older adults, and the importance of maintaining functional independence in aging populations. The research methodology details the study design, participant recruitment, intervention protocols, outcome measures, and data analysis procedures.
