Telehealth has emerged as a promising approach in delivering physiotherapy interventions for patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of telehealth in improving access to and outcomes of physiotherapy services for this specific patient population. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to understand the current landscape of telehealth applications in physiotherapy and the existing evidence supporting its effectiveness. The research methodology involved a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative analysis of patient outcomes and qualitative exploration of patient experiences with telehealth physiotherapy. Findings from the study revealed that telehealth interventions can significantly improve access to care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes for individuals with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. However, challenges such as technological barriers, patient acceptance, and privacy concerns were identified as potential limitations to the widespread adoption of telehealth in physiotherapy practice. The discussion of findings delves into the implications of these results for clinical practice, policy development, and future research directions in the field of telehealth and physiotherapy.
