The project titled "The Effectiveness of Telehealth for Delivering Physiotherapy Interventions in Patients with Chronic Conditions" aims to investigate the efficacy of utilizing telehealth as a means of delivering physiotherapy interventions to patients with chronic conditions. In recent years, telehealth has emerged as a promising tool in healthcare delivery, offering remote access to healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. This research seeks to explore how telehealth can be effectively integrated into physiotherapy practice to address the needs of patients with chronic conditions, who often require ongoing and specialized care. Chronic conditions present long-term challenges for patients, requiring consistent monitoring and management to prevent complications and enhance quality of life. Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in managing these conditions by providing personalized treatment plans, rehabilitation exercises, and education to promote mobility, function, and overall well-being. However, access to physiotherapy services can be limited for patients with chronic conditions due to factors such as distance, mobility issues, and time constraints. By leveraging telehealth technologies such as video conferencing, remote monitoring devices, and mobile apps, physiotherapists can connect with patients in real-time, conduct virtual assessments, deliver exercise programs, and offer guidance and support from a distance. This research will explore the benefits and challenges of using telehealth in physiotherapy practice, including its impact on patient outcomes, adherence to treatment plans, and overall satisfaction with care. Through a comprehensive literature review, this project will examine existing evidence on the effectiveness of telehealth in physiotherapy for patients with chronic conditions. The research methodology will involve designing and implementing a pilot study to assess the feasibility and acceptability of telehealth interventions among a sample of patients with chronic conditions. Data collection will include patient feedback, outcomes measures, and qualitative interviews to gain insights into the patient experience and perceptions of telehealth physiotherapy. The findings of this research will contribute to the growing body of knowledge on telehealth in physiotherapy practice and inform best practices for delivering care to patients with chronic conditions.
