Stroke remains a leading cause of long-term disability worldwide, presenting significant challenges to functional recovery and quality of life for affected individuals. Despite advances in neurorehabilitation, variability persists in rehabilitation outcomes, highlighting the necessity for a structured, evidence-based framework to optimize post-stroke recovery processes. This study aims to develop a comprehensive conceptual framework aimed at enhancing rehabilitation outcomes in post-stroke patients by integrating key psychosocial, biomedical, and therapeutic factors influencing recovery trajectories. Specific objectives include identifying critical determinants of rehabilitation success, examining existing theoretical approaches, and synthesizing an integrative model tailored to clinical application. Adopting a mixed-methods research design, the study comprises both qualitative and quantitative components to ensure a holistic understanding of factors impacting rehabilitation. The qualitative phase involves semi-structured interviews with 25 stroke rehabilitation clinicians, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and neurologists, to explore perceptions of effective rehabilitation practices and barriers.
