Thesis Abstract

Abstract
Children with attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) often face challenges in academic settings due to their difficulties with attention, impulse control, and hyperactivity. These challenges can impact their learning and overall well-being. Involving parents in the management and support of children with ADHD is crucial, as they play a significant role in the child's daily life and academic success. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of training parents in behavior modification skills to motivate their children with ADHD to learn, thereby creating a peaceful transition from home to school. The research will involve a sample of parents of children diagnosed with ADHD who will participate in a behavior modification training program. The program will focus on teaching parents techniques such as positive reinforcement, setting clear expectations, and creating structured routines to help their children improve focus, manage impulsivity, and engage effectively in learning activities. The training will also emphasize the importance of consistency and collaboration between home and school environments to support the child's overall development. Data will be collected through pre- and post-training assessments, observation of parent-child interactions, and feedback from teachers regarding the children's behavior and academic performance.
