The development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy has emerged as a promising approach to enhance the efficacy and reduce the side effects of cancer treatment. This thesis aims to investigate and develop innovative drug delivery systems that specifically target cancer cells while sparing healthy tissues. The research methodology employed a combination of literature review, experimental studies, and data analysis to address key aspects of drug delivery systems, including formulation, targeting mechanisms, and therapeutic outcomes. Chapter One provides an introduction to the project, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The literature review in Chapter Two covers ten essential topics related to drug delivery systems for cancer therapy, including nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery, biomaterials, and current challenges in cancer treatment. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the selection of materials, experimental design, characterization techniques, in vitro and in vivo studies, and data analysis methods.
