The treatment of cancer continues to be a major challenge in the field of medicine, with conventional chemotherapy often resulting in adverse side effects due to the lack of specificity of anticancer drugs. In response to this issue, the development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy has gained significant attention in recent years. This thesis focuses on the design and evaluation of a novel drug delivery system aimed at enhancing the efficacy and reducing the side effects of anticancer drugs for targeted therapy. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The need for targeted cancer therapy is highlighted, emphasizing the importance of developing more effective drug delivery systems to improve patient outcomes. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy.
