Effective communication is essential for the smooth operation of any organization, including government establishments. Secretaries play a crucial role in facilitating communication within government offices. However, poor communication skills among secretaries can hinder the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within government establishments. This research project aims to investigate the possession of poor communication skills by secretaries working in government establishments. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and interviews to collect data on the communication skills of secretaries. The research will focus on identifying common communication challenges faced by secretaries in government establishments, such as lack of clarity, ineffective listening, and poor written communication. By understanding these challenges, the study aims to provide insights into potential areas for improvement through training and development programs. Furthermore, the research will explore the impact of poor communication skills on the overall functioning of government offices. Inefficient communication can lead to misunderstandings, delays in decision-making, and decreased productivity. It has been observed that secretaries involve in poor communication because they lack knowledge of current communication gadgets and they do not take the time to study, practice and master these skills. As a result of this possession of poor communication, most organization now employ linguists as secretaries. In this case, secretaries become unemployed and seeking to join other professions. To enhance effective communication, secretaries should develop their interest in the application of communication rules and improve their ability to communicate effectively.</p><div><br>
