In the dynamic retail industry, the efficiency of document workflows significantly influences operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction. However, many retail stores continue to face challenges related to manual and disjointed document management processes, resulting in delays, errors, and increased operational costs. This study aims to examine how the strategic integration of office technology can enhance document workflow efficiency within retail stores, with the specific objective of identifying the key technological tools that influence workflow performance, determining the level of current technology adoption, and exploring the relationship between technology integration and operational efficiency. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining a quantitative survey and qualitative interviews to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The quantitative component involves a structured questionnaire administered to a sample of 150 employees across 30 retail outlets within a defined metropolitan area, selected through stratified random sampling to ensure representation across store sizes and locations. Data collected through the questionnaire is analyzed using multiple regression analysis to identify the impact of various office technologies—such as document management systems, automated data entry tools, and cloud storage—on workflow efficiency.
