The increasing complexity of office operations and the proliferation of digital documents necessitate efficient management systems capable of enhancing productivity and reducing operational inefficiencies. This study investigates the implementation and impact of digital workflow automation systems on office productivity and document management processes within medium-sized organizations. The primary aim is to develop an understanding of how workflow automation can be optimized to streamline administrative tasks, improve document retrieval times, and foster better collaboration among office staff. To achieve this, the study formulates specific objectives to identify key components and features of effective workflow automation tools, to measure the effect of automation on processing times of office tasks, to evaluate user satisfaction and acceptance levels, and to explore the challenges associated with automation adoption. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative strategies to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
