This thesis presents a comprehensive investigation into the phenomenon of code-switching in multilingual conversations. The study aims to analyze the patterns of code-switching, identify the factors influencing code-switching behavior, and explore the communicative functions and socio-cultural implications of code-switching in multilingual interactions. The research methodology adopted for this study involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection will be carried out through audio recordings of natural conversations in multilingual settings, which will be transcribed and analyzed for instances of code-switching.
