The study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of code-switching behaviors and their implications for communication within multilingual communities. Chapter 1 introduces the research topic, providing background information on code-switching, stating the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, and outlining the structure of the thesis.
