This study aims to delve into the use of social media as a tool for promoting library services and resources, with a focus on understanding the strategies employed, the impact on user engagement, and the challenges and opportunities associated with leveraging social media platforms for library outreach.</div><div>Libraries have increasingly turned to social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to connect with their patrons, share information about library programs and resources, and foster a sense of community engagement. This research seeks to explore the various approaches and best practices employed by libraries in utilizing social media for promotional purposes, as well as the impact of these strategies on user engagement and awareness of library services.</div><div>By employing a mixed-methods approach, this study will gather insights from library staff, patrons, and social media analytics to assess the effectiveness of social media promotion in libraries. The findings of this research are expected to provide valuable insights into the best practices for leveraging social media, identify challenges faced by libraries in utilizing social media, and offer recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of social media promotion for library services and resources.
