By investigating the implementation of AR applications to create interactive and immersive experiences within library exhibitions, as well as to extend the reach of library outreach programs, the research aims to provide insights into the impact of AR on user engagement, learning outcomes, and community involvement.</div><div>Drawing upon a theoretical framework and existing literature, the research endeavors to provide a comprehensive understanding of the applications of AR in cultural institutions and its potential to transform library exhibitions and outreach efforts. Through the utilization of a mixed-methods approach, the study aims to gather insights from library professionals, technology experts, and users to assess the effectiveness of AR in enhancing library exhibitions and outreach, and to identify best practices for integrating AR technology in library settings.</div><div>The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the ongoing discourse on the use of augmented reality in libraries, providing valuable insights for library practitioners, technology developers, and stakeholders seeking to leverage AR technology to create immersive experiences and extend library outreach.
