This study seeks to comprehensively assess the role of libraries in promoting information access for people with disabilities. By understanding the current landscape of library services, resources, and policies tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities, libraries can better address the unique challenges and opportunities in supporting information access for this user group.</div><div>Drawing upon a theoretical framework and existing literature, the research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how libraries support information access for people with disabilities. Through the utilization of a mixed-methods approach, the study endeavors to gather insights from individuals with disabilities, library staff, and accessibility advocates to assess the effectiveness of existing initiatives and identify best practices for enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of library services.</div><div>The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the ongoing discourse on the role of libraries in promoting information access for people with disabilities, providing valuable insights for library practitioners, accessibility advocates, and stakeholders seeking to enhance the inclusivity and relevance of library services. Ultimately, this study aims to offer recommendations for optimizing library support for information access, furthering the mission of libraries as accessible and responsive hubs for diverse communities, including those with disabilities.</div> <br></div><p></p>
