By defining key terms and establishing the scope and objectives of the study, the introduction aims to provide a clear framework for the subsequent exploration of the pivotal role of libraries in disaster resilience and community support.</div><div>Central to this research is the investigation of the role of libraries in disaster preparedness, encompassing their functions as community information hubs, providers of outreach and education initiatives for disaster awareness, and collaborators in building partnerships and networks for preparedness.
