This thesis explores the role of non-state actors in shaping international relations, focusing on their impact, motivations, and implications for traditional state-centric diplomacy. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis, this study examines the diverse forms of non-state actors, including multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, and transnational advocacy networks, and their evolving roles in global governance and diplomacy. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis to provide a nuanced understanding of how non-state actors navigate power dynamics and influence decision-making processes at the international level.
