This thesis investigates the critical relationship between employee engagement and organizational performance within the context of the hospitality industry. Employee engagement has garnered increasing attention in recent years as a key driver of organizational success. The study aims to explore how higher levels of employee engagement can positively impact various aspects of organizational performance in the hospitality sector. The research methodology employed in this study is a case study approach, focusing on a specific organization within the hospitality industry. A mixed-methods research design will be utilized to gather both quantitative and qualitative data to provide a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between employee engagement and organizational performance. The literature review section of the thesis delves into existing research on employee engagement, organizational performance, and their interplay. Ten key themes emerged from the literature review, including the definition and measurement of employee engagement, the factors influencing employee engagement, and the impact of engagement on organizational outcomes. The findings from the research methodology highlight the significant influence of employee engagement on various aspects of organizational performance, such as employee productivity, job satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The discussion in Chapter Four delves into these findings in detail, providing insights into the mechanisms through which employee engagement drives organizational success in the hospitality industry. In conclusion, this thesis underscores the crucial role of employee engagement in enhancing organizational performance within the hospitality sector. The implications of the study extend to both practitioners and scholars in the field of human resource management, offering valuable insights into how organizations can leverage employee engagement strategies to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
