This thesis investigates the impact of plant-based diets on cardiovascular health in young adults. The study aims to evaluate the relationship between plant-based dietary patterns and cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and inflammatory markers. A comprehensive literature review reveals the existing evidence supporting the cardiovascular benefits of plant-based diets, highlighting the potential mechanisms involved in improving heart health. The research methodology involves a longitudinal observational study with a sample of young adults aged 18-30 years. Participants will be assessed for their dietary intake using food frequency questionnaires and biomarkers related to cardiovascular health.
