The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases among young adults has been steadily increasing, prompting a growing interest in the potential benefits of plant-based diets in promoting cardiovascular health. This thesis aims to investigate the impact of plant-based diets on cardiovascular health in young adults. The study will explore the relationship between plant-based diets and various cardiovascular health markers, including blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and inflammation markers. Chapter one provides an introduction to the topic, including background information on the rising rates of cardiovascular diseases among young adults, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key studies related to plant-based diets and cardiovascular health in young adults. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, sampling methods, data collection techniques, and data analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and limitations of the research methodology.
