Nigeria has played a significant role in the formation and development of regional organizations in Africa. This research project examines the historical context and factors that have shaped Nigeria's involvement in regional organizations. The study focuses on key regional bodies such as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU), exploring Nigeria's contributions to these organizations. The research delves into Nigeria's foreign policy objectives and how they align with the goals of regional integration and cooperation. By analyzing Nigeria's leadership role in regional organizations, the study aims to understand the country's strategic interests and influence in shaping regional policies.
