Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on cardiovascular health in sedentary young adults. Sedentary lifestyles have become a prevalent issue leading to various health concerns, particularly cardiovascular diseases. HIIT has gained popularity as an effective exercise regimen for improving cardiovascular health in a time-efficient manner. The study aims to examine the effects of HIIT on key cardiovascular health parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, and aerobic capacity among sedentary young adults. The research methodology involved a randomized controlled trial with a sample population of sedentary young adults aged between 18 to 30 years. Participants were divided into two groups an experimental group that underwent a structured HIIT program and a control group that maintained their sedentary lifestyle.
