This thesis explores the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on stress and well-being among college students in Health and Physical Education programs. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness practices in reducing stress levels and enhancing overall well-being among this specific student population. The research methodology includes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys to assess stress levels and qualitative interviews to gather in-depth insights into the experiences of students participating in mindfulness interventions. The literature review covers various theories and empirical studies related to mindfulness, stress management, and well-being in educational settings. Findings from this study suggest that mindfulness-based interventions have a positive impact on reducing stress levels and enhancing well-being among college students in Health and Physical Education programs. The implications of these findings are discussed in the context of promoting mental health and academic success among students in higher education.
