The study aims to provide insights into the factors affecting groundwater quality in the study area and to assess the impact of geological formations on the distribution of groundwater contaminants. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on groundwater quality, geological formations, and their interrelationships. The literature review highlights the importance of understanding the geological context of an area in assessing groundwater quality and identifies gaps in current knowledge that this study seeks to address. The methodology chapter outlines the research design, data collection methods, and analytical techniques employed in the study.
