The case study city chosen for this research provides a unique opportunity to investigate the factors contributing to UHIs in a rapidly developing urban setting. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on UHIs, emphasizing the causes, effects, and mitigation strategies associated with this phenomenon.
