Small-scale farming cooperatives are pivotal to rural economic development and food security, yet their capacity to leverage digital technologies to enhance community engagement remains underexplored. This study aims to examine the extent to which digital transformation influences community engagement within small-scale farming cooperatives, with particular emphasis on identifying key factors that facilitate or hinder this process. The specific objectives are (1) to assess the level of digital technology adoption among cooperative members; (2) to analyze the relationship between digital transformation initiatives and community participation; (3) to identify socio-economic and infrastructural barriers to digital engagement; and (4) to propose a framework for enhancing digital literacy and participation in these cooperatives. A mixed-methods research design was employed, integrating quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The quantitative component targeted a sample of 250 members from diverse small-scale farming cooperatives in a rural region with high digital penetration, selected through stratified random sampling to ensure representativeness.
