This thesis focuses on the development of a novel method for assessing the quality and safety of packaged fresh produce. The project aims to address the limitations of traditional quality assessment methods and improve the efficiency and accuracy of evaluating packaged fresh produce. Chapter one provides an introduction to the study, presenting the background of the research, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter two comprises a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to quality assessment methods, safety standards, packaging technologies, and existing challenges in the fresh produce industry. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations.
