Urban redevelopment initiatives often risk undermining long-term property values due to inadequate frameworks that address sustainability, leading to declining investment confidence and socio-economic instability within cities. This study seeks to develop a comprehensive framework for sustainable property value preservation amid urban redevelopment activities, by integrating economic, environmental, social, and institutional dimensions. The primary aim is to identify critical drivers and barriers to maintaining property values during and after redevelopment projects, and to formulate a structured, evidence-based framework that stakeholders can adopt to promote sustainable urban regeneration. The specific objectives include (1) to examine existing models and theories related to property value preservation and urban redevelopment; (2) to empirically assess the influence of key factors such as planning policies, environmental quality, infrastructure developments, and community engagement on property value trajectories; (3) to identify contextual variables moderating these relationships; and (4) to construct and validate a conceptual framework outlining best practices for sustainable property preservation in urban redevelopment contexts. Methodologically, the study adopts a mixed-methods convergent design, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to enhance robustness. The research population comprises property developers, urban planners, local government officials, and residents within a metropolitan city with ongoing redevelopment projects, totaling approximately 500 stakeholders.
