Climate change poses a significant threat to marine ecosystems worldwide, with coral reefs being particularly vulnerable due to their sensitivity to environmental changes. This thesis investigates the impact of climate change on coral reefs, focusing on a case study of a specific reef ecosystem. The study aims to understand how rising sea temperatures, ocean acidification, and extreme weather events associated with climate change are affecting the health and biodiversity of coral reefs. Through a comprehensive literature review, this thesis explores current research findings on the subject and identifies gaps in knowledge that warrant further investigation. The research methodology employed in this study includes field surveys, data analysis, and modeling techniques to assess the current state of the coral reef ecosystem under study. By collecting primary data on coral health, species diversity, and environmental conditions, the study aims to provide a detailed analysis of the impact of climate change on the coral reef ecosystem.
