Abstract
Environmental impact assessments are an important tool for evaluating potential environmental risks of development projects. However, existing EIA processes still face challenges in comprehensively assessing all impacts and ensuring mitigation plans are implemented. This project aims to improve the environmental impact assessment process through stakeholder engagement and monitoring of post-approval impacts. Stakeholders including local communities, environmental groups, and regulatory agencies will provide input to make assessments more holistic. Follow-up monitoring will track implementation of mitigation plans and any unanticipated impacts. The goal is to balance environmental protection with sustainable development through a more rigorous and transparent EIA system.
