Thesis Abstract

Abstract
As the global environmental crisis continues to escalate, the need for sustainable waste management solutions has become increasingly urgent. One potential solution is the implementation of waste pure water polythene recycling machines, which can help address the growing issue of plastic waste pollution. This research project focuses on forecasting the viability of siting a waste pure water polythene recycling machine in a specific location. The methodology employed in this study includes a comprehensive analysis of the target location, considering factors such as population density, waste generation rates, existing waste management infrastructure, and regulatory environment. Data on the types and quantities of polythene waste generated in the area are also collected to assess the potential feedstock availability for the recycling machine. Furthermore, the economic feasibility of operating a waste pure water polythene recycling machine is evaluated through a cost-benefit analysis. This analysis takes into account the initial investment required to set up the recycling machine, operational costs, revenue streams from selling recycled products, and potential government incentives or subsidies for recycling initiatives. In addition to the economic aspect, the environmental impact of implementing a waste pure water polythene recycling machine is assessed. By diverting polythene waste from landfills and incineration, the recycling machine can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and alleviate pressure on natural resources. Life cycle assessment methods are used to quantify the environmental benefits of recycling polythene waste compared to traditional waste disposal methods. The findings of this research project provide valuable insights into the feasibility and potential benefits of siting a waste pure water polythene recycling machine in the target location. By forecasting the economic viability and environmental impact of the recycling machine, decision-makers can make informed choices regarding the implementation of sustainable waste management practices. Overall, this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable waste management solutions and provides a framework for assessing the viability of similar recycling initiatives in other locations. By promoting the adoption of waste pure water polythene recycling machines, this study aims to support efforts towards a more circular economy and a cleaner, healthier environment.
