Land use changes are a critical aspect of environmental management and planning. This research project aims to assess land use changes in a specific region over a defined period. The study utilizes remote sensing data, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, and field surveys to analyze and quantify the changes in land use patterns. By employing these tools, the research aims to provide insight into the drivers of land use change, such as urbanization, deforestation, agricultural expansion, and infrastructure development. The methodology involves the acquisition of satellite imagery covering the study area at different time points. These images are processed and analyzed using GIS software to classify land cover types and detect changes over time. Field surveys are conducted to validate the accuracy of the remote sensing analysis and provide ground-truth data for calibration. The combination of remote sensing data and field surveys allows for a comprehensive assessment of land use changes with high spatial resolution.
