The Business Model Canvas (BMC) has emerged as a popular tool for startups to visualize, analyze, and iterate on their business models. However, existing BMC tools are often generic and lack customization options tailored specifically for startups. This research project aims to address this gap by developing a customized Business Model Canvas tool specifically designed for startups. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to business model development and startup success.
