However, the impact of trade liberalization on income inequality has been a subject of debate among researchers and policymakers. This thesis investigates the relationship between trade liberalization and income inequality in developing countries. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis using panel data from a sample of developing countries and qualitative analysis through case studies. The first part of the study focuses on the theoretical framework, reviewing existing literature on trade liberalization, income inequality, and their interplay. The literature review highlights the diverse perspectives on how trade liberalization affects income distribution, drawing attention to factors such as skill-biased technological change, labor market dynamics, and government policies. The second part of the study presents the research methodology, detailing the data collection process, variables, and analytical techniques employed.
