This thesis investigates the use of technology to enhance economics education in secondary schools. The integration of technology in education has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, offering new opportunities to improve teaching and learning strategies. The study aims to explore how technology can be effectively utilized to enhance the teaching and learning of economics concepts in secondary schools, ultimately improving student engagement and academic performance. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies on the use of technology in education, particularly economics education. The study also includes a qualitative research approach, utilizing interviews and surveys with economics teachers and students to gather firsthand insights into their experiences with technology in the classroom. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review of ten key studies related to technology integration in economics education, highlighting the benefits and challenges associated with this approach. Chapter Three discusses the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. It also describes the participants involved in the study and the ethical considerations taken into account.
