This study dealt with the social factors that cause disciplinary problems in secondary schools in Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State. The study was guided by four research questions and three hypotheses. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study with total sample of 613 SSI students used. A questionnaire titled Social Factors that Cause Disciplinary Problems in Secondary Schools was developed by researcher for data collection with overall reliability index of 0.86 using Cronbach Alpha. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions and t-test used to test the hypotheses. Findings revealed that broken homes or polygamous homes, parental failure to train their children, children deprived of parental care and supervision among others are the social factors that cause disciplinary problems in schools. Finally it was recommended among others that teaching of moral education in schools should be intensified by teachers and school administrators.
